Default mode (cookies)​

  • First-party cookies: ovyxa_vid (visitor ID, 1yr), ovyxa_sid (session ID, 30min rolling)
  • SameSite=Lax, Secure flag

  • Enables accurate revenue attribution, visitor journeys, cross-session tracking

Cookieless mode (data-cookieless)​

  • Add data-cookieless to the tracking script
  • localStorage-based visitor ID, server-side session hash
  • No cookie consent needed — GDPR-exempt
  • Trade-off: less accurate cross-session revenue attribution
